First of all HAPPY EASTER! May you get all the eggs you deserve, but let’s not forget what is going in the world, so STAY SAFE and continue to follow the rules about social distancing when searching for your eggs, I’m not convinced that this will be over this week sadly😭... (and we’ll still be finding eggs🐣 in the garden next week😂). I meant the other staying in actually, oh dear...
By far the best thing about this isolation easter weekend is we have our fabulous garden to roam or chill out in, something to be very grateful for - I don’t usually do this but we got creative with the youngest this morning and while he drew pokemon easter characters, I did them an egg hunt. Clearly the weakest link in this game is that sometimes they find a clue without having a clue! Anyway it was fun and they were happy with their final egg hunting skills from eggs found mainly dotted about the garden but not sure how well they’ll be now as they scoff them all down!
So going back to yesterday, the tortoises had a fab morning having a mooch around in the warmth of the sun first on the decking, then moved to the grassy area ... then tried to get them to do some exercise on the assault course into their outdoor area but they had the freedom bug by then so were not interested!
I was able to get some classic staged pictures of them in front of our buddha so they look well cute here🐢😅🐢😅🐢😅💚
